The VTX1300C joined the line-up in 2004 as the custom-styled member of the 1300 family, using the same 1312 cc liquid-cooled 52-degree V-twin and shaft drive as the VTX1300S but with cast wheels, a skinny 19-inch front tyre and drag-style bars for a lean, stretched look. Rear suspension travel is slightly shorter than on the S. It was pitched as an affordable, low-seat alternative to the big VTX1800, strong on low-rev torque and easy cruising.
